Package Crosscut System
We have recently acquired and installed a state of the art Package Crosscut System. This system allows us to cut any size lumber packages up to 40’ long, to custom sizes within 1/32 of an inch accuracy. This system allows us to do custom P.E.T. (precision end trimming) for any special lengths that our customers may require.
Custom Planing
Nicola Valley Custom Lumber has a modern planer line in which we are able to do custom planing for our customers, at a very reasonable rate. The planer line can also do any P.E.T. (precision and trimming) required by our customers. We can cut all sizes of studs (from 6 feet to 12 feet P.E.T.) or any size required.
Lumber & Dry Kilns
At NVCL we have high efficiency dry kilns equipped with modern technology. We are able to dry any species of any lumber to satisfy our customers, including high value products such as cedar etc.
Lumber Storage Yard
Nicola Valley Custom Lumber has a total of 25 acres and 10 acres are designated for lumber storage for our customers at a very reasonable rate. Our property is monitored 24 hours a day our security staff to ensure safe keeping of all products.
Logistics
NVCL has its own fleet of lumber hauling trucks. We haul lumber to container reload yards, shipyards, and rail reload yards for customer specific requests.
Our lumber hauling service lets us maintain on time shipping schedules for our customers.
